Workshop for teacher-training

The proposal aims to involve the museum beyond its physical limits using the body and voice as action devices. Presented in the form of a laboratory, participants will explore alternative perspectives on the museum, opening up new temporalities and spaces.

Understanding the body as matter, a series of actions will be proposed to generate connections based on current exhibitions, establishing a dialogue with the collective body.

The workshop will conclude with the construction of an ephemeral piece resulting from previous practice.

This proposal, which aims to broaden the view of the museum as a tool in teaching practice, is linked as a preliminary activity to Arts en Moviment: activant la creativitat i la motricitat a l’aula organized by the CEP of Palma Jaume Cañellas Mut on May 30 and 31 at Es Baluard Museu and at CEIP Rei Jaume I.

 

The activity will be led by:

Anna Berenguer (1985). Graduated in Dramatic Art from the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and in Audiovisual Communication from the UAB. She also completed the Official Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Theatre Studies. She develops her artistic practice on the margins of the body, focusing on the intersection of different materials that intersect and relate. Her interest in the performing arts has led her to develop projects aimed at generating spaces for research and the hybridization of languages, placing bodies at the center as sites of learning and shared experiences. Her recent projects revolve around the activation of different archives based on the body and the study of its reception. She works from the need to connect practices with the public, generating spaces for encounters with the idea of ​​connection and celebration.
