Guided Tours «Es Baluard Museu through history and architecture»

2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the Museum, and for this reason we continue with the programme of free guided tours for adults. On this occasion we propose you to approach the heritage environment that surrounds the Museum and of which it is a part.
The visit will begin on the terraces of the Museum, where we will talk about the Renaissance bastion and the history of the place, from its military origins to the inauguration of Es Baluard Museu. We will walk along the Passeig de Ronda and we will also focus on the contemporary architecture of the building. We will finish the tour by visiting the 17th century Aljub (large cistern) and the air-raid shelter of the former artillery barracks of the bastion of Sant Pere.
We invite you to get to know the history of the bastion of Sant Pere through its architecture and heritage environment, in order to be able to imagine the future.
