MINIMÚSICA

As every year, Es Baluard says goodbye with music to the "Família! El dissabte va d'art" family workshops. Minimúsica is a series of modern and popular music aimed at children to make them know the musics of the moment they're living. Minimúsica invites the parents to take part of this experience. Every edition has a theme that on this occasion will be "the body". The bands will be:

Miquel Serra is a personal project and also a band with a solid formation. As a personal project, from 2006 he's recording songs in his home and collecting them in mock-disk format to let them know to friends and the like, a record per year. In 2009 he decided to record the songs of the disc Opilions in a more or less formal studio and the result was acceptable enough to attempt to make it run a little more and get it out of the usual orbit of friends. Then was born the current band, that already worked on the following album Música útil in 2010. They're Miquel Perelló, drums; Jorra, soloist guitar; Simó Femenies, bass and chorus; and Miquel Serra acoustic guitar and voice. The band will record a new album this summer.

L'Équilibriste starts in 2007 after a long period reflecting on the concept of band, style, way of working and people to collaborate to. With a clearly rocker repertoire and after having worked their songs, presented in many halls and contests in Mallorca, they publish in 2009 their first album Què en saps tu, de bicicletes i parafangos? (Flor y Nata Records. 2009) that, amont other shows, was presented in the 22nd edition of Festival Altaveu Frontera in Sant Boi de Llobregat. Que sea la última Vez que te veo como una silla volando (Maplana Records. Junio 2011) and Nadie sospechará que siempre son las siete (Maplana Records. Octubre 2011) are two albums with two trends and that determine the role of each musician and, therefore, the sound of this band.

Marzipan Man is a multifaceted and ever-changing band, known for their lush and psychedelic arrangements, their surreal lyrics and strange titles of their songs. Melodies and stories based on the biography of a strange and lost being of internal cult, the Marzipan Man, discovered by its singer and main songwriter, Jordi HP, in a journey of outdoor exploration. His style: psychedelic skiffle music? The Waterboys travelling through space? Glam rock at a summer camp?
