Screen Printing Workshop Inspired by Painting.
In this workshop, we will work with the screen-printing technique, starting with the observation and analysis of the works in the exhibition “Nachleben. Every Image Is a Potential Painting”.
We will visit the exhibition hall and capture details of the works on display using instant cameras. We will then draw from this image and develop it on a screen-printing screen.
With our drawings, we will create a collective work to print on paper.
Blu, illustrator, tattooist and engraver born in La Plata in 1990. He studied a degree in art at the UNLP with a specialisation in engraving and printed art. He is currently part of Tallers 16, a graphic arts space in Pere Garau where he works his magic and gives training workshops in screen printing and engraving.
