The city in pieces

Activity of “GranGent/GentGran” program that, from a social and educational level, aims to respond to groups of older people. With this program the knowledge of the collective is put in value, offering them quality cultural activities, thus enhancing an active ageing.

The workshop will take place, during the Summer of 2021, at different nursing homes in Palma. After visiting the exhibitions “The Parallel Utopia. Dreamt Cities in Cuba (1980-1993)” and “Memory of Defence: Physical and Mental Architectures”, we will design the disappeared geography of our city, building together a collective memory, piece by piece, and imagining possible and hopeful futures.
