As an activity linked to the exhibition “Universitat Herbal: Paintress Gossip” curated by Cristina Anglada, we propose a series of activations led by the artist and researcher blanca arias.
The activations will take place in the same exhibition hall, Espai D, and aim to generate a common space to develop a project related to reading, to create fictions from the work. Underground texts from an audiovisual archive will be read and listened to. It will be like a whisper, a walk that will find meaning in the time allocated to the process.
“How does a group become an event, that is, something that turns out to be more than the mere sum of its parts? One answer is contamination. We are contaminated by our encounters: these change who we are insofar as we give way to others. To the extent that contamination transforms projects of creating worlds, mutual worlds can emerge, and also new directions.”
