Irene La Sen & Xarro de las Calaveras howl to the ‘Llunes d’Es Baluard’

Irene La Sen & Xarro de las Calaveras show their command of spoken word technique with the howl they’ve recorded to “Llunes d’Es Baluard” (Es Baluard’s moons). The artists, that will play in the “Llunes d’Es Baluard” shows program at the museum’s outdoors on Thursday July 12, have composed this music track within the framework of the Es Baluard’s contest to give “Llunes” tickets and season tickets. Xarro describes his howl, “A bit of Fèlix Rodríguez de la Fuente, The Howlin’ Wolf and his lament Moanin’ at midnight, Stuart Walker’s Werewolf of London (1935), cell phone verses-cries by Irene, some glitching, S4 reviewing and maybe a lost sea lion”.

“Llunes d’Es Baluard” will host this Summer shows by Miguel Noguera, Irene La Sen + Xarro, Joe Crepúsculo and Catalina Carrasco. The contestants have to send before June 30 to comunicacio@esbaluard.org a howl in the format chosen (video, audio track, photo or drawing) that must be made by the contestant. Winners will be announced at this website.

“Llunes d’Es Baluard” tickets on sale at the Es Baluard ticket office. Season tickets the 4 “Llunes” shows at 9 euros and tickets for each show cost 3 euros.
