“I Am a Palace / I Am a Stable” is the title of the exhibition focused on Ana Laura Aláez (Bilbao, 1964) in 2024, a project made up of entirely new work that engages with the structural characteristics of the empty exhibition space by means of a reticulated sculptural work and reflects the influence the island exerts on the artist’s life since she settled in Mallorca thirteen years ago. The edition, published by the Fundació Es Baluard in 2025, includes texts by the curator Frederic Montornés, and a conversation between Agustín Fernández Mallo and Ana Laura Aláez, as well as reproductions of the exhibited works.
