Catalogue of the first exhibition in the Balearic Islands by Julião Sarmento, a great, Portuguese artist of international renown. Co-produced by the CAC Malaga and Es Baluard and curated by Fernando Francés, this retrospective focuses on the work of the last ten years through a selection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, collages and video. Intimist in nature, Sarmento impregnates his work with references to language, literature and film in order to pose questions, inviting spectators to search for the answers. The catalogue contains critical texts by Fernando Huici and Ricardo Nicolau as well as images of the works on display.
