Es Baluard Museu d’Art Modern i Contemporani de Palma organised the first presentation of its collection held abroad. Mounted at the Queen Sofia Spanish Institute of New York, the exhibition covered Mallorca’s prominent role in the development of the landscape painting genre between 1872 and 1934 and dedicated a special section to Joan Miró and his links to the island. The catalogue contains a text by Marie-Claire Uberquoi, as well as colour reproductions of all the works.
