The Bancaja Foundation supports the ‘GranGent / GentGran’ Es Baluard programme

The GranGent / GentGran Es Baluard’s programme will be supported for the second year by Bancaja Foundation’s ‘Convocatoria de Ayudas a Entidades de Interés Público y Social 2012’.

Thanks to this support, of 8,000 euros, Es Baluard can run from September the second edition of this project aims to make senior citizens visible, cover and answer their necessities. The activities part from artistic and social education, music and cinema as tools to link the participants’ experiences and the museum’s programme.

Es Baluard pretend GranGent / GentGran make listened the experiences of senior citizens, talk about the themes they’re interested in, create connections with other senior citizens, make them interact with their grandchildren, work on their memories, know their past and current stories sharing time, values and emotions.

With this second edition of GranGent / GentGran, Es Baluard joins the activities of the UNESCO’s Año Europeo del Envejecimiento Activo y de la Solidaridad Intergeneracional (2012).
