Es Baluard Museu d’Art Contemporani de Palma offers the companies and professionals the opportunity to use its different spaces, both internal and external, in order to organise their events in an emblematic place in the city of Palma.

They are special spaces, suited to different types of celebrations – cocktail parties, dinners, events, fashion parades, filming, shootings – and also are also functional for work meetings, congresses, conferences, presentations etc. All of the museum’s spaces have free Wi-Fi.

In addition, one can also ask for a guided tour, as desired, which may be private (with the museum closed to the public), and access museum publications and other gift items to give as presents to guests.

The strategic and central location of the museum within the city of Palma is a big advantage for the organisation of all kinds of events.

Aljub

The Aljub, a 17th-century construction, is one of the museum’s most emblematic spaces. It has been rehabilitated in such a way that it has the necessary infrastructure for holding any type of event in it (presentation, cocktail party, congress, etc.).

Auditori

The Auditori is an open-plan and functional space, ideal for holding conferences, workshops, seminars and presentations. Fully equipped with the technical resources necessary for these kinds of meetings, it also has a booth with a pre-installation for interpreting equipment.

Central courtyard

A central space in the museum, which gives a welcome. In it, one can carry out all types of open-air activities. Arranged like an agora, it offers access to the outdoor terrace and the garden area that connects up to the city. It has a permanent stage, next to the city wall, where speeches, concerts and conferences can be given.

External terrace

Situated between the outer walls and the surface of the inner wall, this terrace runs along one of the museum’s lateral façades, above the former Aljub, and ends in a splendid balcony over the quay and the Bay of Palma, which affords a magnificent view of the Cathedral and Bellver castle. Its privileged location over the Bay of Palma and its size mean this museum terrace is an excellent place in which to hold all kinds of open-air events. The area available for holding events is that between the interior wall, where the museum is located, and the wall that borders on Palma’s Paseo Marítimo.

Es Baluard Museu opens its doors to production companies searching for locations for their reports/videos, offering its singular architecture and special views and light. The building is perfectly integrated into the profile of the city wall and the Renaissance bastion, and aims to both integrate into and stand out from the modern construction, respecting the ancient heritage of the walls. Consult possible uses of the museum spaces - Patio, terraces, indoor spaces etc. – that can be used without interfering with Es Baluard Museum functions.
