The Master’s Degree in Creative Thinking and Strategic Design of Cultural Projects, promoted by Es Baluard Museu and Adema, incorporates Aula Oberta, a programme of public sessions and talks that extends the content of the Master’s degree to the wider cultural ecosystem.

Throughout the academic year, some of the professionals who form part of the teaching team will share their knowledge, experience and perspectives on creativity, critical thinking, and the management and development of cultural projects.

These sessions will bring some of the debates and content generated within the Master’s degree closer to the public, while creating spaces for encounter, reflection and exchange with professionals from different areas of the cultural sector.

The first session will feature lawyers Patricia Gabeiras and Roger Dedeu, who will discuss “Advocacy in the Cultural Sector through the Practice of Law”. The session will explore different approaches to legal advice and support in the cultural sector developed by Gabeiras & Asociados and the Gabeiras Foundation for Law and Culture, taking into account the profiles and needs of the different stakeholders involved in cultural processes: public administrations, legislative bodies, cultural industries, professional associations, artists and collectives. Drawing on successful cases in which they have participated, provided support or taken the lead, they will share experiences and tools to explore the role of law as an instrument for advocacy and transformation in the cultural sector.
