- 1st session from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm
- 2nd session from 12:15 pm to 13:45 pm
Workshop on attentive listening and sound art where we will train our ears to experiment with sound. We will listen to different locations in the Museum and compose a piece using different types of microphones to capture the hidden sounds that surround us, as well as the sampler technique. We will listen to sound interpretations of various works from the Collection and create a map locating the sounds heard throughout the journey.
The workshop is part of the activities of the International Day of Museums.

*Txema González de Lozoyo. Musician, anthropologist, and phonographer. He conducts research, creation, and production work in the field of sound and music. Specialized in traditional instruments, field recording, and sound art. His work emerges from the study of tradition and develops with a clear experimental vocation. He has released a dozen albums ranging from ancient and traditional music to the most radical experimentation, as well as numerous interventions and installations in all kinds of institutions, museums, radios, and streets around the world.
