The publication En Trànsit. Projecte educatiu i artístic sobre el concepte de desplaçament (In Transit: An Educational and Artistic Project on the Concept of Displacement) presents the proposal developed by the Education Department of Es Baluard Museu for schools and community organizations in connection with the exhibition “Eugenio Dittborn. Airmail Paintings” (January 31 to June 15, 2025), which ran during the 2024-2025 academic year.

This collaborative publication has a dual purpose. Firstly, it gathers the perspectives of the Museum’s Education Department, the participating schools and organizations, and the research on the project conducted by Caterina Ramon-Bordoi, Professor of Didactics of Visual Expression at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) and member of the Institute for Research and Innovation in Education (IRIE)*. Secondly, it serves as a tool for knowledge transfer, encouraging other schools and educational communities to use art as a cross-curricular and transformative tool in their teaching practices.

In keeping with the essence of the project, as reflected in the publication, the presentation will be inclusive and open to diverse participating voices.
